Biography

Hi, we are Norm and Barbara Dawson and we live in Corrales, NM, a village just outside of Albuquerque, NM

My wife Barbara is a teacher by training, and we have been married 27 years. We home school our four kids.

About 16 years ago I became a Chiropractic Physician at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas because I like helping people prevent disease and illnesses. I also like helping people meet their goals and who want to make their lives better. So about 10 years ago, I realized that I was not doing all I could to do both, prevent disease and help people who wanted to improve their physical and economic health.

I wasn't lacking the opportunity and earning potential, but I was going to lack the lifestyle I wanted. I did NOT want to commute or be tied down to an office (doc in the box). I had many friends and many of my parents' friends who had spent 5, 10, 20 years in the daily grind and watched them get burnt out.

One day I decided that I did not want to go down that path. That's when I decided to make a change.

(By the way, many of my colleagues and friends couldn't believe what I was giving up because many of them didn't understand the quality of life factor.)

Fast forward to present day.... I'm not tied down to one location and, most importantly, I don't have to commute.

I'm now free...free to live where I want and do what I want when I want to do it.
