Biography

Dr. J Ann Dunn BS, DC, CKP is the creator and innovator of Wholistic Kinesiology, as well as a published author, teacher and lecturer. For over 15 years, she has researched, practiced and taught this technique to hundreds of individuals who, like her, are on a quest to find an alternative solution to allopathic medicine.

Dr. Dunn began her career in the Natural Health Industry after a long bout of ill health, which drove her to seek out alternative healing methods. She found someone who practiced Kinesiology, and thus began her road back to being healthy. The results she experienced peaked her interest in Kinesiology, and she decided to take a course and learn this amazing technique herself. She eventually developed her own technique, combining anatomy, physiology, behavioral, bodywork and nutrition to create Wholistic Kinesiology. Her philosophy is to treat the person as a whole being, not just a collection of parts and symptoms.

2007 – Current study toward MD degree, EKO University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Lagos, Nigeria
1991-1995 Palmer College of Chiropractic-Davenport, Iowa. Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences and Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
1991 Various advanced Kinesionics courses completed.
1990 Kinesionics Certification completed through Kinesionics Institute
1989 Educational Kinesiology Course 1 and Course 2 – Santa Fe, NM
1988 Touch for Health Course – Albuquerque, NM

Experience
* Developed and began teaching the Wholistic Kinesiology program, which includes Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Herbology, Homeopathy, Emotional Balancing Techniques and business/practice management.
* Instructor for Kinesionics Institute from 1991-1999
* Speaker on Natural Healing subjects since 1991
* Adjunct Clinical Professor for the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, Oregon.
* Owner of the Wholistic Kinesiology trademark.
* Has lectured and major venues including the World Wide Wellness Weekend which included other speakers such as Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson.

Dr. Dunn has recently retired from her practice to focus all of her attention on teaching at her Institute, and doing seminars and lectures worldwide.
