In January of 1985, a whole new system for referral marketing, sometimes called networking, was born. Dr.Ivan Miser was not only there, but he was the visionary facilitator of putting that organization together. The organization is called BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization, with more than 4,900 chapters throughout every populated continent on the planet.
This interview was strikingly easy to do. Dr. Misner mentioned that this was his fourth media appearance of that particular day, and it was only 9am. But, considering his success with the development of a multi-national franchise and the largest like it anywhere, Dr. Misner is a very “normal” guy to talk to.
We talked about the process of putting together his latest book with co-author, Don Morgan, entitled Masters of Success which features many many articles from great thinkers in sales such as Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Jack Canfield, Martha Stewart and many others.
As he shares the story, you’ll see how this wasn’t a completely planned event, but rather a series of micro-events, tweaks and adjustments resulting in what we now see as the “mature” version of the BNI model.
