Tom McMahon joined the Play N Trade executive team in January of 2008, bringing more than 20 years of retail growth and expansion expertise to the company, including senior executive positions with Activision, Frito-Lay, and most recently, Starbucks Coffee.

Some of Tom’s most outstanding accomplishments include successfully developing, marketing and publishing Activision’s first million-unit game seller, Tony Hawk Pro Skater. While an executive at Starbucks Coffee Company, Tom managed large regional retail store businesses in scenarios that included leading significant turnarounds, innovating beverage and food businesses, improving customer experience initiatives, re-engineering markets and improving overall store execution. Tom also has an extensive acquisition background, including two companies valued at $50- $100 million, where he was responsible for managing the integration of operations and employees, supervising the renovation of locations, and incorporating acquired stores into a strategic store plan. At PepsiCo, Tom hired, trained and developed regional and national sales and marketing teams.

As COO for Play N Trade, Tom is responsible for managing all phases of the company’s operations, including franchisee support, training, real estate, customer service, franchise development, brand strategy, operations and IT, marketing, and public relations. His goal is to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in order to strengthen franchisee support and position the company for continued expansion and success.
