Since 1982 Kathryn Maxwell and her staff have been providing cash management services, support, and education to individuals, families, and small businesses.

A pioneer in cash management and bill-paying for individuals and families, Kathryn co-founded Ascent Cash Flow Systems in 1982 to provide personal accounts payable services Bill-Paying and personal financial organization. She recognized that individuals, not just businesses, need financial support and assistance on a day-to-day basis. Ms. Maxwell has since helped thousands with debt solutions, cash flow improvements, and the development of healthy money management habits.

She is co-author of the book, Richer Than You Dreamed (Clarkson Potter, 1991), an empowering tool for helping couples develop good communication and effective systems for managing their joint finances.

In 2001, Ms. Maxwell formed Maxwell Money Management and was joined by most of her original staff. The bill-paying service is still an important part of the company’s services. In addition, with so many years of in-depth experience in the day-to-day issues of peoples’ financial lives, Maxwell Money Management now also acts as a Personal Business Manager to a wide range of busy individuals.
